Stampin' Up!

Do you stamp? I wasn't going to, I was just too scared of "things" going wrong, and getting bored with my stash [of stamps, that is].... but Stampin' Up! has had a great deal for the last two months - spend $100, and get a free stamp set - so last week I decided I needed to host a workshop...

Through the SM forum, I found a demonstrator near to me, contacted her and organised a workshop for today - one week's notice...

WOW!! I love the stuff!! Actually seeing some stamping techniques really makes a difference!! There's some step-by-step classes over at scraptherapy atm, but I really wanted a "real life" play with them.

So, I placed my order - and my girlfriends ordered too, which I wasn't expecting - so I ended up with almost $100 worth of freebies on top of the order I placed!! I bought classic stampin spots, it's a date and bold butterflies, and my freebies were the stampin pastels, lots of thoughts (the set I wanted from the "free sets with every $100 spent") and terrific tags for my hostess gift. And they will probably arrive early next week, in time for our monthly crop on Friday - in time to play!!

  1. Congrats on getting so many freebies by being a hostess . . . they certainly do have some awesome products and I agree - seeing stamping techniques in action makes the world of difference! Looking forward to you sharing your stamping creations in the near future!
