some christmas stuff finished!! YAY me!

So, over at little scrapbook shop, there's been a Christmas competition running... complete a challenge each week, and go in the running for a $100 store voucher... and I actually completed the challenges!! YAY me!!

The LO above was to scrap a Christmas photo, using non-traditional Christmas colours.. of course, I couldn't resist finally cutting into the beautiful American Crafts Amplified range that I picked up from scraptherapy BEFORE the manufacturer of the month started... not sure if they're Christmas colours, but they are to me!

Next up (the first challenge) was to create an off the page item that could be given as a gift... I had just finished creating this after FINALLY reading the Donna Downey book "decorative journals", and love how it turned out... so simple to make, from scratch, only took about an hour to do!

Lastly, a set of five cards and tags... I was inspired by a card over at ScrapScene, and love how they turned out... everyone thought I was mad, cutting up sandpaper, but it really worked!!
