a monthly make

I jumped on the bandwagon at the start of the year, committing myself to creating something each month. Just to add variety, I told myself scrapbook layouts didn't count, but off the page items did count (because I like to do little projects as I'm inspired)

In January, my make was a snowman ornament for a swap through swap-bot.

In February, I made a quilt for a friend who's baby was born at 25wks.

In March, I made some shadow boxes with Echo Park's For The Record

I think I'm going to use some of these as my pay-it-forward gifts.

  1. you've made some beautiful things and what a great idea to exclude scrapping so that you'd push yourself to do different things. I hope your friends baby is doing well, the quilt is lovely. Jo x

  2. Great projects. I really like that heart fabric on the baby quilt. Most of my creative stuff this year has been scrapbook layouts, however I have created a few alterned mini books and bookmarks.
