5 {goals for july} on friday

  1. Since I "failed" at project 365 last June, I've had some vague idea that I would complete the second half of the year this year, starting today. I also enjoyed taking photos last month and sharing them straight to the blog so I'm leaning towards continuing my photo a day project that way. Maybe at the end of a year I'll create a photobook, or a mini album, or something, but for now I'm going to take a photo every day.
  2. I'm still following along with Finding Photo Freedom, although I'm not being very good about it. I have taught myself how to make the photoshop elements organiser read the photos on my external hard drive, rather than move them all back to my sluggishly-slow computer, and I am re-reading Stacy's books and enjoying them again, but that's it for now.
  3. I signed up for Soul Restoration 1 this month. I hold myself back, despite my mantra, and I've lost sight of Cate amongst all the nappies and noise of children. The only person who can change it is me, and I'm slowly working on it, but I'm hoping that Soul Restoration will help me explore things that I haven't thought of exploring, and find answers to questions I forgot to ask.
  4. We've bought a camper trailer, so this month we're off on our second-ever camping adventure. I've spent most of today washing our brand new sleeping bags, and the packed-away-for-seven-years swags, our campsite is booked (and we've searched the internet for new places to try next time - I love that we haven't even been camping yet, but we're planning the next trip already), all that's need now is a menu, a table, batteries for torches and the big day to hurry up and get here.
  5. I didn't get the canvases made, or the books read from last month. I'm packing The Creative Habit on our camping adventure, and have made a start on the quote canvas today. I'm also stalking Christy Tomlinson's blog, to see when SheArt will be offered again.
