review | prinstagram minibooks

Over the Easter weekend I read a post from fat mum slim that was reviewing products that turned Instagram photos into something tangible. I loved the look of the prinstagram minibooks, so ordered them on the spot.

With the Australian dollar still strong, $12 for the photo books was a really good price. Postage to Australia was only $12, as well. The system told me that delivery would take 2-5 weeks, but it was exactly 3 weeks from order to pick up from post office (the parcel needs to be signed for.)

The books are small. The outer cover measures 3.25" x 2.5", and the perspex comes with a film covering to protect.

The inner pages are just under 3.75" x 2.25". They are a heavy-weight cardstock, and have a glossy finish. The photos are printed at 2" square (many of my photos are imported from hipstamatic, so the frames are slightly larger)

You can't add or subtract pages from the books, so printing 100 photos had me printing the start of my April photos, too. (And then I fell off the bandwagon, and stopped taking photos).

I'm very happy with the quality of this product. I'll definately be printing the rest of my photos this way.

This is not a sponsored post. I bought this product myself, and am sharing my own opinions.

Do you use instagram? (it is now available for android users) Do you print your photos?

  1. ohhhh Cate, I don't even have a smart phone or droid, I am still using a LG with a qwerty keybd (which was a conscious decision) So no instagrams for me but I am happy that you've found a great way to get the prints :)
