I must confess | 30 days to Christmas

it's 30 sleeps until Christmas

and if you've been around these parts for a while, you know Christmas is big here

but I must confess, not this year

I don't have a binder

I don't have any idea what I'm buying, or baking, or making

I do have a budget

I do know how many days I have to shop

I must confess I'm surprised I'm not stressed

I don't even know if Steve will be home on the big day

so I'm planning a quiet affair

I must confess, I'm not organised at all

are you ready for the big day?

  1. I am in no way, shape or form organised....and do you know what?.....I'm not even stressing about it...the house will get decorated this coming weekend and we'll see what happens from there!...I have no doubt whatsoever that you will give your kids a great Christmas when the time comes

  2. I'm behind on some things, ahead on others. Not panicking yet though - lots of lists going on

  3. I don't have everything planned, but I'm not stressed & plan to just relax & enjoy the holiday season. I'll be decorating this week & shopping for the few gifts I need next week & making a few gifts.

  4. I am totally 'behind' on everything. No cards, no food list, no presents bought. But hey, that's what the last week before Christmas is for!

  6. I am definitely not ready for the big day! I have not bought a single present or even written one single list. I have some wrapping paper left over from last year and that's about it. I swear every year passes by faster than the last one!

  7. No, not ready at all! I was hoping to get some shopping done yesterday when I had a day alone with my husband but we ended up having to find an emergency dentist instead after he chipped a tooth. So still nowhere near ready!

  8. I have cards, I even have a few presents but I don't feel as if it's really coming up that quickly. Once dec 1st is here I'm sure I'll be more stressed!

  9. I am well on my way to being organised. I love Christmas! Presents mostly bought, holidays booked in, tree decorated, planning a cookie making session with my three-year old next week. It's so very exciting!
