Hello Monday

hello, ProBlogger. It's here. 3 sleeps, in fact. I'm slightly anxious, and so excited. There's so much to learn, from the speakers and other bloggers. And the quiet will be deafening!

hello, dentist. For Douglas this time. He has an abscess under a weak tooth. The tooth can't be repaired, so we're trying to figure out our plan of attack.

hello, public holiday. It's EKKA day on Wednesday. The kids will have the day off school, but Steve will be at work. Between packing my bag for Thursday and trying to get Sophie to sleep, I think we might hit the beach.

hello, new clothes. I've spent the last two Fridays shopping with Toni for new clothes for ProBlogger. Two days, because she's an indecisive shopper (I finished my shopping in the first hour of the first day.) I took my own advice in all things except splashing out on some low heels for Friday night's event.

hello, baking. I wrote a post last year about trusting our husbands to be okay with the kids while we're away from home. And while I still stand by every single word, this year I realise that there are some things I can do to make it a little bit easier for Steve. A bit of baking and doing the grocery shopping will help smooth those few days.

hello, Monday, a new start every week.

  9. So true there are things we can do to make life at home easier for those covering the front for us. I stocked the cupboards and covered a few bases for hubby too. That way I relax more at Problogger knowing it's all that little bit happier at home for hubby. I'll try to keep an eye out for you. :-) at problogger.
