Turns out that parents don't get involved because they don't know what's going on.

I'm trying a different trick with the treadmill, I'm ignoring it. Instead, I've stopped drinking Coke, and stopped eating lemon tarts, and I'm trying to eat fruit for morning tea every other day.

I'm not sure how to teach the children to give. This was interesting reading. I think I might introduce the kids to Kiva, and let them lead the way.

I figured out the printing, I need to select borderless A4 printing. Only problem now is PSE puts a border in anyway.

How long after a person stops talking to you do you stop caring that they don't talk to you anymore?

Why don't parents get involved in committees or helping out? (not just school, but extra-curricular activities, eg scouts)

How do you teach children to give, not just take? (and is it possible to teach them not to hit?)
