Hello Monday

hello, school holidays I need to keep my list of activity ideas in mind when dealing with the kids, because we're 4 days into the holidays and they're helping me lose my mind. I'm sure it will get better as we settle into a holiday routine.

hello, talking toddler just a short few weeks ago I was worried about Sophie's lack of communication. But I shouldn't have been worried, she's picking up new words every day, even if sometimes she can't quite figure out what she's trying to say to us, so resorts to the point-and-grunt tactics.

hello, Christmas just 11 sleeps to go, and I'm ready to write my not-doing list, because I have failed at doing any of the things on my to-do list. I haven't even started the present shopping yet.

hello, 2016 I can't work out if 2015 has been a good or bad year yet, I'm still thinking on it. But I'll be glad to move on to the next step, whatever it may be.

hello, Monday, a new start every week.

  1. Hahaha how good would a not-do list be!!! I can't believe it's nearly Christmas either. It's definitely snuck up!

  2. I'm savourimg my last few kid free days before school breaks up here - I think I'll be in need of lots of activity ideas too by the end of the week!

  3. After a very late start to it all, I knocked over all of my shopping and nearly all of my wrapping on the weekend. Granted we don't do much for gifts, so that also makes it very easy.

  4. I know, 11 sleeps to go! I feel as though it was only yesterday that I wrote 26 sleeps and then, all of a sudden, it jumped to 11!

  5. I'm also on the fence about the state of this year but full of hope for a great one next year. I haven't done Christmas shopping either, or made cards or anything else I usually want to do. I can't believe how close Christmas is.

  6. I feel the same about 2015!! I've been super organised and bought presents over the last few months so I feel good about having all my shopping done and being able to avoid the shops next week!! Good luck with your list!

  7. I need to organise an activities list to keep the kids busy. As long as they're busy, they are not nagging me or fighting with each other. Two days in and the weather's been good so I've taken them to the swimming lake both days. Getting there with the Christmas shopping too. Amazing!

  8. I smiled at the thought of a not-doing list - I think Christmas preparations are never finished, we simply decide to stop preparing and just start enjoying. Oh, I hope your Christmas was good, and that on the whole 2015 was more good than bad. Happy 2016.

  9. Love a not-to-do list. That would be the best gift idea of all. Happy 2016!
