"reflections of me" OTP

I actually finished a class! This album was a class at scraptherapy on Saturday night, and I got stuck into it on the Sunday - unfortunately, I didn't have any white thickers, so had to go shopping for them yesterday, and finished it off last night... I love the look of it - even if it is photos of me ~lol~

Ingredients I have used - "reflections of me" class kit including kaisercraft crown otp album, hot pink pearls, white flowers, daisy bucket paper ribbon, wishing well pp; own stash - ac thickers poolside vinyl white, dymo letra tag maker.

I love Pritt Power Gel for sticking paper to OTPs - it just seems to give everything an extra bit of grip! But if you tri, while the glue is still wet, you can tear the paper, and if the glue is too dry, it's hard to cut - there is a happy medium, but I'm still figuring it out!

So, the idea was to use words to describe yourself - something I'm not very good at - so I asked DH to give me his words to describe me (that will make sense with the next picture), then I wanted to find songs to go with the words, but that's not an easy task! Google is great, but after pouring through heaps of lyrics, I got the shits, and took the easy route, looking for obscure quotes instead! This one says "She knew how to trust people... a rare quality revealing a character far above average" Cardinal Jean Francois de Retz

I used a song lyric for this one! Once I found it, I couldn't get it out of my head! "Hey sexy lady, I like your flow, Your body's bangin, Out of control" Shaggy - it's running around my head again today! DH also took this photo at our mothers day breakfast - I don't often let him lose with the camera, but I think I should let him play with it, otherwise how will I get good photos of me?!

"Half of being smart is knowing what you're dumb about" Solomon Short - something I have always believed, especially after meeting so many idiots at university!! (DH picked "intelligent", but I couldn't find a quote or song to match, and liked this quote when I found it)

"A person is not given integrity. It results from the relentless pursuit of honesty at all times" Source unknown I didn't really like the paper ribbon, but I like the look of it stapled and stuck to the end - might give that trick a try with regular ribbon!

I just love the look of those thickers... and they come in so many cool colours, grapefruit, blue, black, and I've seen brown on preorder at a couple of shops, too!!

So, that's my album! Thanks for checking it out!
