my freedom - prompt one

Time is....
I forget how I found Shimelle - I think it might have been while blog surfing, although who's blog I have no idea - but I took a class earlier this year, and while I haven't finished it, I had to sign up to this class, too!! I love her style, of scrapping, of thinking, of teaching, all of which makes it fun to take her classes!!

Today sees the first prompt for the new class - I get the prompts in the evening, so tend to feel as if I'm a day behind, but I can't sleep until I've read it all, and digested it!! The class runs for five weeks, with prompts at the start of the week about photos, and as the week progresses we cover journalling, and then page design - I should end up with a 20 page album, if I follow the prompts, but I'm waiting to see where it goes, cause the idea of double LOs has me cringing atm! Today the prompts are TIME and TRAVEL.

Tomorrow, if I get the chance, I'm going to wander around the house taking photos of time - the main one in this house is the computer clock, though - the computer is always on, and some days I hardly move from the desk! Off the top of my head, I'll be taking photos of clocks, watches, timers, calendars, diaries, phones, and tvs - all representative of time in our house...

The travel prompt has me thinking - I only really travel within a small-ish area of home - but the first thing that springs to mind is a photo of our street, it's a funny, triangular thing that is tucked away off the main street, and doesn't lead to anywhere except around the block! The thinking cap is on!!!

Happy scrapping!

  1. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the prompt. I have an idea of what I am going to do for the travel part but not sure about the time thing.

  5. I've just been round the house taking photos of the clocks - I didn't realise how many we had! Not sure where it's all leading at the moment but I'm hoping I keep up!
