Where I work

Today's prompt where I work Do you have a desk? Craft room? Shared work space? Share photos of your space, and what makes it uniquely you
This is my main computer/work area. It's where I write blog posts, pay bills, store photos, and it is remarkably clean for a change (and has stayed that way for over a week now!)
I'm also lucky enough to have a craft room. It's the fourth space I've occupied in this house, but it's the best one, and I won't be moving out any time soon (it does mean we're a bedroom down upstairs, but we have space downstairs we can convert for teenagers and uni students.)

Do you still use a desktop computer, or am I a dinosaur?

Tomorrow's prompt review your camera They say the best camera is the one you have with you. I believed that, until I got the Olympus OMD E-M10. I'm going to tell you all about it, but I want to hear about your camera too, your likes and dislikes.

  1. I haven't used a desktop computer for at least 10 years. I just haven't needed the power and I've always needed/wanted the portability of a laptop. Unfortunately I don't have a set crafting space.

  2. If you're a dinosaur then so am I. My main computer is an Aurora4, then I have a laptop (Inspiron) and a Surface Pro 3. And that's actually the in order of the frequency of use.
I'm in the 27 week process of Organizing my ScrapSpace and have spent the last 4-6 weeks going through all my photos. Might be half done. Oh, and that doesn't count the 17k+ of digital photos I have on my big machine.

  4. I still have a desktop that I use as our main storage for photos & files. It's on my desk where I pay bills & process paperwork. We use our laptops much more often, but I still consider the desktop the main computer.

  5. My "desktop" is actually a laptop run to a full size monitor and full size keyboard via a hub. But I like having all the full size equipment - especially when I'm digi-scrapping! I got a Surface Pro 3 for Christmas that I use as my travel computer - for days when I work in the office (instead of from home) or days when I'm actually traveling.
