what a week!!!

Last weekend was the Scraptherapy cybercrop - I only got one LO done (and nearly didn't get it finished!!) It was for challenge three, the sketch challenge - and the twist this month was that it had to be a LO of a food or toys at Christmas, so I did my truffle recipe...

And these are the cards the kids made for the junior challenge (to make a christmas card with at least one button, and ribbon) - the top one is Douglas', Chloe's is the bottom one - and their teachers loved them!! (I ended up buying plants for the teachers)

Relsi at therapy has been running a bit of a fun comp - blog bucks - where we post about stuff happening at therapy, then link to their blog, and get to go in the draw for a store gift voucher.... well, I WON for December!! YAY!! And therapy still has 25% off everything in stock for this whole month... I haven't been shopping yet, was waiting until boxing day, so hope there is still some yummy stuff available!!

The kids have now finished school - they're heading to a new school next year (just over the road from home), so it's also the end of a five year association with the school, and all the fun stuff that goes with being a parent! I'm sure they're excited about a new school, but I don't think it's quite real yet... but wait until after Christmas - then it will sink in!!

This is our family photo from our mums group Christmas party last Sunday at Nessa's house. I've actually got to get off my bum now, and print all the photos out and scrap them in an album! We've got a new bub at mums group - Susan had a little girl on Monday, so Connor is now a big brother!! Mum and bub are doing well, and we'll look forward to having them back at mums group in the new year!

Did I say Nat is crawling? She took her first steps on Monday, and figured it all out on Tuesday. Her first tooth came through the Thursday before, and she now has three more trying really hard to get out.... making for a fun bubba!

We laid the artificial grass in the courtyard today, and DH is just putting the finishing touches on the sandpit... already the kids are hassling me to play in it! It's going to be an excellent area for Christmas day and beyond!

That's about all my news for the moment... we're off to carols by candlelight tonight, so I'm heading to the kitchen to make sausage rolls to take with us (along with watermelon, donughts, and dad's flask!)

Have a great week.
