sunday @ 2peas challenge....

What was your favourite book as a child?

I loved Enid Blyton books - my favourite was "the adventures of Robin Hood" and "The Faraway Tree" series of books... unforunately, in this day and age of political correctness, they're not the same books as they were, but DD1 is starting to read them, too!

As I got older, I enjoyed books like "Lord of the flies", "to kill a mockingbird", trashy romance, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Peter Straub, Alistair Maclean, Len Deighton, Eric Lustbader, spy books and adventure books and scary books, and books that made me think.

Some of my recent (last two years) "oh you must read this" books have been "We need to talk about Kevin" by Lionel Shriver, Jeffery Archer, Jonathan Kellerman, Minette Walters, Val McDermid, Faye Kellerman (the titles of which completely escape my thoughts at the moment, but google them, and you should find them!
