blog fodder

I knew as soon as I saw Shimelle's sketch of the week a couple of weeks ago that Hipstamatic photos would be perfect. And then came the Beyond Blogging day in photos project, and I had the right photos. And I was headed out to a crop on Saturday night, so I had plenty of time to complete a layout. Which I did.

And then I went on to create two layouts based on the following week's sketch. Yep, three layouts in one night. The most I have created in one sitting for well over two years.

Paper is Crate Paper Good Neighbor collection. I like it because it's still bright colours, but slightly muted, working well with the outdoor photo.

Crate Paper again. We don't usually do egg hunts for Easter, but we started a new tradition this year of breakfast in the park (our new favourite thing to do whatever the occasion). We went for a little walk amongst some trees, and the kids didn't notice me discreetly dropping eggs. They were so excited when they found them and placed them in their baskets.

Layout-a-day is also happening again, so I'm playing along (hoping to keep up, because I know I can).

Christmas pages with non-traditional colours make my heart sing, especially if I can find an excuse to use red and white polka dots.

And pink on a boy page is easy to do if you are matching the pink to another element on the page, in this instance - the thickers in the title.
