Back in 2009, when I was pregnant with Riley, I developed gestational diabetes. It was the first time in 3 pregnancies I'd had to deal with GDM, and it threw my world upside down. In the end, I was lucky to control it with diet, and had no lasting side effects. So I was interested when I was approached to try the new line of no added sugar milk chocolate from Well, Naturally... because I remember trying the dark chocolate when I was pregnant, and enjoying that experience.
I was sent the creamy milk and fruit and nut chocolates to try. And because it's impossible to eat chocolate without sharing it, I handed out chocolate to all the kids - before school! They thought that was pretty impressive!
Natalie gave it a thumbs up and nod of the head, Douglas said "yum", and Riley's response was "wow, yum!"
As for me, it does taste different, I probably wouldn't eat a whole bar in one sitting, but the taste is nice, and creamy and just like milk chocolate. I think I might just stash the rest of the bars away for those moments I'm craving something, but don't want that sick feeling that too much sugar leaves behind.
disclaimer - I was sent bars of chocolate to taste test. All views are mine.
