It occured to me last month that I really missed writing to Sophie each month, but also that I was enjoying writing regular updates from all of us, so I decided to combine the best of both worlds, and update us on the 28th of each month
he works five nights a week, and sleeps six days a week
he is loved and missed by all the kids (and sometimes I miss him, too)
he is excited for our camping trip next month
she is hoping to pull off a big project in October
she needs to take better care of herself
she will be printing a big pile of photos this week, the scrapbooking itch is starting!
he is almost thirteen, and all the cranky grunting that comes with teenagedom
he has been working really hard at school this year, and it shows in his report
he loves scouts, but is frustrated by the bigger boys goofing off (I don't want to tell him that he might be the same one day!)
she has a best friend that she is always so excited to see
she can get over-excited and naughty when she's tired
she's almost as big a bookworm as her big sister
he is already planning "his next birthday"
he forgets that he is bigger than Sophie, and can sometimes be rough
he loves yoga
she loves being outside, and playing on the trampoline
she looks for dad the second she wakes up
she is off food at the moment, probably cutting some more teeth
This is such a great idea for a post, Cate. I just LOVE that photo of your cute little Sophie. What a happy little doll she is! :o)
ReplyDeletePS: I love that Riley loves yoga!
Oh Cate - your family and their gorgeous smiles... melting me xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful snapshot in time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous little family.
Such a great way to capture where everyone is up to, and what they are doing, and what they look like.... I do hope you'll be able to take better care of yourself very soon ...
