So, we went to a birthday party yesterday. At the beach. I got lots of amazing photos of the kids, and the opening of presents, and the birthday girl, and Amanda (it's going to be a page titled "the things we do for a photo!")
I wasn't the only one with a camera - Amanda had hers, too. So, of all the mums and dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, two of us had cameras. (the birthday girl's parents had a video camera, but it only came out at cake and presents time)
I have ALWAYS been snap-happy. I went on a short student exchange to England in the early 90's for four weeks, and came home with twenty rolls of film that needed developing. Now I take hundreds of photos on a daily basis, and my hoard-iness means I NEVER DELETE.
Is it the scrapper in me that makes me take the camera everywhere? Or is it just that the advent of digital cameras has made it so much easier to enable me with more photos?
