~~ a new cub is inducted ~~

it was a very disorganised night, but when things
finally got underway I think all the kids were happy.
sparklers in the dark were fun to play with

we couldn't hear what was going on, and no-one explained
the process to parents, but I guess this is the "swearing"
part, reciting the oath.

the whole group... there are 2 other scouts who were
inducted a couple of weeks ago, but all these kids signed
up just before the last holidays (when Douglas did),
so the troop has gone from 2 to 9 (and I think they
signed up about 5 Joeys)
