Then I went and bought a new camera.Which had been on the cards for a couple of months. My Fujifilm S5700 is almost 4 years old (it's 7.1mp!). I've been researching the Canon Eos 1000D and 500D. But during the last week I started researching Fujifilm again, and had settled on the S3200. And then the guy at the shop said this was a better model. And it was on sale, for close to one quarter off the retail price (and close to the S3200's RRP)
I took 135 photos over the day. Some are rubbish, out of focus, low light, clutter in the background. But they show our Monday. And today I'm taking more photos that show our Tuesday. And tomorrow, when the kids whinge again about the camera, I'll remind them again that in ten years time they''ll thank me for taking photos and making an album of what our week is like this week.
As for the album, I'll have to put my thinking cap on. I'm taking lots of notes, using the PDF Ali Edwards provided. And I have templates and journaling cards from previous years. I like 8.5x11 for little projects like this. And my LSS is starting to get in some lovely just-released-at-CHA-products.
Are you playing along this week? Have you decided what paper line you'll be using?
I'm not taking part, due to having summer visitors and life being hectic enough, but i'm etching what everyone else is up to!

Congrats on getting a new camera! I'm not doing the WITL project but I feel a bit guilty. You have your hands full with 4 little ones and you're keeping up, my excuse is that we're moving... ;o) Great pics for day one, Cate! xo
