Us Right Now

he works as hard as ever

and is tired

he came to the realisation last week that maybe money isn't important for happiness

only took him 50 years
she is slightly overwhelmed with all she is doing

she accidentally got two fines this week

and ended up on the school p&c, running their social media

but she loves crossover bags
he got a good report on his first term in high school

and we think he enjoyed his trip to Perth

but he's pretty rude to dad when he's home

there's only so many times you can say "he's 13" before it becomes an issue
at parent teacher interviews this week, her teacher said she needs to practise number facts

no surprise there

otherwise she's an awesome student, works hard, helps her friends, polite

no surprise there
at parent teacher interviews this week, his teacher said he needs to practise writing

no surprise there

otherwise he loves school, is polite and helpful and works hard

no surprise there
she is finally starting to say words

nana, mahmee, dahdee (banana, mummy, daddy)

and climbs on everything

and is always excited when dad gets home

  1. Great looking family Cate! Sounds like they are all doing well in school. Politeness does seem more prominent in the younger ones, but that 13-year-old will return to it . . . eventually! (I so remember those days of teaching middle school when everyone was 12 or 13-years-old!)

I'll be linking up late your time each day since you're a day ahead of us. It's only 5 pm on Thursday here! I've still got a few hours of April left to mark another couple of items off my to-do list! :)

  2. I love how they always call banana "nana" {Trent's mum totally thinks she's saying Nana for her}.
