he came to the realisation last week that maybe money isn't important for happiness
only took him 50 years
she is slightly overwhelmed with all she is doing
she accidentally got two fines this week
and ended up on the school p&c, running their social media
but she loves crossover bags
he got a good report on his first term in high school
and we think he enjoyed his trip to Perth
but he's pretty rude to dad when he's home
there's only so many times you can say "he's 13" before it becomes an issue
at parent teacher interviews this week, her teacher said she needs to practise number facts
no surprise there
otherwise she's an awesome student, works hard, helps her friends, polite

she is finally starting to say words
nana, mahmee, dahdee (banana, mummy, daddy)
and climbs on everything
and is always excited when dad gets home
Great looking family Cate! Sounds like they are all doing well in school. Politeness does seem more prominent in the younger ones, but that 13-year-old will return to it . . . eventually! (I so remember those days of teaching middle school when everyone was 12 or 13-years-old!)
