blogging for scrapbookers | a year ago today

During Riley's first year, I did monthly blog updates. In fact, I turned the posts into an album for his first birthday. A year ago, he was seven months old. Today he is nineteen months old.


you love the slide at playgroup

 you are obsessed with bananas

you love laying down beside Nat to draw


mum wasn't planning to get your hair cut until you turned 2


then Nat found a pair of scissors


but you happily let mum put "i-ties" in


you have lots of words
he ma = thanks mum
sop i = stop it
a po = icy pole
wawa = water
co = coke
hot tea
ju = juice
moo = milk
mow = more
bow = bowl
soca = sock/shoe

    Recording his words is such a worthwhile plan - the other day we were trying to remember the name of TSO's imaginary friend and we couldn't. None of us could, and it's such a shame.

    He is growing up fast!
