Today's prompt share a recipe we all have that one recipe we could make with our
eyes closed, we make it so often. Tell us the story of that recipe, and
don't forget to link up with Fabulous Foodie Fridays.
I've been making this slice for at least 15 years. (Just quietly, it was one of Chloe's favourites when she was little) It's become a firm lunch box favourite over the years, but like most things, I make it too often, because the kids eat it, then they stop eating it and I don't bake it. I whipped it up this morning for lunch boxes in less than thirty minutes, but it's so simple that Douglas or Natalie could actually make it by themselves.

Tomorrow's prompt share ten pinners you love to follow We all have such varied interests, finding new pinners to follow is fun!
I love those recipes, the ones that you make over and over until everyone stops eating it and you have to give it a break. They are the best ones!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are like that too - if you make it too often, it loses its appeal as a favorite.
ReplyDeleteof course it was my favourite. It is an absolutely amazing chocolate slice
ReplyDeleteThis sounds very good, thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteFantastic!! This sounds just like one that mum used to make. Hehe I know what you mean about going through phases where you love a particular slice and then go off it for a while! Thanks for linking up with our Fabulous Foodie Fridays party!!
